Nope, your eyes did not deceive you … there it is, in living Kodachrome: today’s Business section of The Cincinnati Enquirer. In color. With its own Cover, and Section. And it’s not even a Saturday or Sunday.
The City’s dominant media player has returned a touch of glory to its Business section, displaying the latest and greatest from the Greater Cincinnati business community with a new, full-color Cover section on Thursdays and Fridays.
Can I get a little love for the D section?
The only morning newspaper in this town has taken a beating over the last few years. To its credit, much has been transparent.
Painfully so, if you know some of the fine folks that work there – used to work there – hope to still work there.
Back In The Day, the Enquirer Business section always had color, always had its own Cover spot. Even on Monday.
When the financial crisis hit and that stitch in Gannett’s side started to bleed, Business was relegated to the back of the A section. And whatever milk cartons you could find at UDF. Bad move.
Phat props to the MB regime and my Enquirer Business section peops. Now let’s get that puppy back on Monday-Wednesday.
