The March to $10M: Jeanne Schroer and the Catalytic Development Funding Corp. of NKy. at CREW Greater Cincinnati luncheon munyana

Jeanne Schroer will share details of the $10M fund being assembled by the Catalytic Development Funding Corp. of Northern Kentucky.

$10 million is the goal. And they’re getting close.

To hear just how close Jeanne Schroer and the Catalytic Development Funding Corp. of Northern Kentucky are getting to their $10 million goal, you’ve got to attend tomorrow’s CREW Greater Cincinnati luncheon at The Metropolitan Club in Covington.

“The goal was to raise the $10 million, and then start investigating the absolute best means to invest those funds,” said Schroer, Executive Director of the group formed in 2008.

So …. just how close to the $10 million are they getting?

Schroer won’t say; she will, however, gladly discuss the focus of the group.

“The urban core of our Northern Kentucky cities. This is the inner fabric of our communities,” said Schroer, a Cincinnati native who graduated undergrad from UC.

Schroer is one of three speakers at tomorrow’s CREW GC luncheon, entitled “Raising the Stakes in Northern Kentucky.” The gig starts with a half-hour networking session from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., followed by the program, which lasts until 1 p.m.

The Catalytic Development Funding Corp. is a non-profit formed in 2008 to provide capital to real estate developers undertaking projects in Northern Kentucky’s urban neighborhoods. Formerly, the Cincinnati native who grew up in Mt. Airy (McAuley High School grad) was Director of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Center and was a Field Service Professor of Real Estate.

Tomorrow’s other two speakers are Karen Finan with Northern Kentucky Tri-ED and Jody Robinson, Assistant City Administrator with the City of Bellevue, Ky.
