‘The New Art of Making a Deal’ with Cincy CREW Sept. 9 at The Cincinnati Zoo: Continuing Ed credits, three-session seminar (Casino!) and wild beasties

The Cincinnati Zoo, Sept. 9: "The New Art of Making a Deal," annual continuing Ed seminar from Cincy CREW

The Greater Cincinnati chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) is hosting “The New Art of Making a Deal” on Sept. 9 at The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, the centerpiece of Cincy CREW’s annual continuing education event.

The three-session program will be held from 2-5 p.m. at The Cincinnati Zoo Treetops Conference Center at The Cincinnati Zoo, 3400 Vine Street. Highlights are:

1. Session One: “Making a Deal with Distressed Assets” featuring Philomena Ashdown from Strauss and Troy and Janet Santen, Special Assets Officer from First Financial Bank;

2. Session Two: “Financing the Deal” with Susan Branscome from Q10/Triad Capital Advisors Cincinnati Inc. and Susan Thomas, Director of Finance with the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority;

3. Session Three: “Deal Me In: Connecting Cincinnati’s Casino to Stimulate Local Economic Development,” featuring Chip Gerhardt, President of Government Strategies Group; Stephen Samuels, President of Bridging Broadway; and Brian Tiffany, President of the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce.

A special guest appearance will be made by Thane Maynard, Cincinnati Zoo Director. The program will feature 3.5 continuing education credits that are pending with the appropriate authorities for:

– Real Estate
– Appraisals
– Law

2 p.m. – 5 p.m., followed by a Happy Hour: CREW Cincy takes over The Cincinnati Zoo Sept. 9.
