The Good, The Bad, and The Greyhound: Developing Broadway Commons District highlights Cincy CREWfest at The Zoo Sept. 9: ‘The New Art of Making a Deal’

Broadway Commons: Where baseball once beckoned, a Casino will soon come forth.

An Interstate (almost) Runs Through It.

When asked to consider a Cincinnati Reds stadium for the site, Hamilton County voters pooh-poohed it.

1996? Remember? Did you vote?

So now, what’s up for that gorgeous stretch of Downtown/Midtown Cincinnati known as the Broadway Commons District? Inquiring minds want to know:

– What’s going to happen to the Greyhound Bus station?

– Will Flanagan’s, Caddy’s or Sleep Out Louie’s really anchor the surrounding entertainment venues?

– Will the City engage a TIF District ย to pay for infrastructure improvements?

– Who is this “Broadway Bridges,” and what is it that they do?

– Is it true that Brian Tiffany, OTR Chamber Prez, is already knee-deep in development plans?

On Sept. 9, kindly accept our invitation to join CREW Greater Cincinnati (www.CREWCincinnati.org) for “The New Art of Making a Deal” at The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens. Answers to these, and other pressing questions, will be offered.

The program will run from 2-5 p.m. at The Treetops Conference Center, and has tentatively been approved for CEU credit in the fields of: Real Estate, Appraisals and Law.

The event is considered a signature gig for CREW Cincy, which has applied for CEU credits, received tentative CEU credit approval, and fully expects to be granted CEU eligibility, said CREW GC President Ellen Mayleben. CREW is working to get a crowd of at least 100, and is well on its way, Mayleben said.

“This is really starting to generate a buzz,” Mayleben said.ย “What started as a great opportunity to combine a CEU credit-earning event, with a Happy Hour, and fun networking at a fun place, has really turned into an event for the Greater Cincinnati commercial real estate industry.”

The cash: $50 for CREW Members, $60 for non-Members, and $20 for students,ย with online registration open until Sept. 6.

The confirmation: ONLY OPEN ONLINE UNTIL SEPT. 6 https://www.registrationfactory.com/v3/default.cfm?EventUUID=EB827106.

The latecomers: Walk-ups are ALWAYS welcome at CREW GC events.
