The hard-working folks at The City of Fort Thomas are getting closer to adding that much-needed soccer/football field at Rossford Park, aka The CakeEater’s Lunar Landscape.

The City and its contractors have completely reshaped the facility, from a cramped, overbooked park with a tiny gazebo, which barely accommodated two baseball fields.

The new version will feature two full baseball diamonds, a much-larger gazebo/shelter area, and a sprawling terrain with a new soccer/football field.

Completion is scheduled for the Fall of 2011:
