The 2011 season schedule for the Bearcats has not yet been set, but we do know there are games scheduled against:

The Austin Peay Governors;

The Tennessee Volunteers;

The Akron Zips;

The NC State Wolfpack;

The Miami Redskins.

Elder and UC football enjoy an outstanding relationship.

Most recently, Panthers playing on the Nippert Stadium turf include Bradley Glatthaar, Craig Carey and Digger Bujnoch.

Elder grads Glatthaar, Carey played for UC.

There are threeย Elder Panthers currently on the roster in Clifton: offensive linemanย Austen Bujnoch, kickerย Tony Miliano and linebackerย Corey Mason.

Bujnoch will be a redshirt junior next year, a 6′ 5″, 275-pound offensive lineman, younger brother of Digger and son of former Cincinnati Bengals and Tampa Bay Bucs O-lineman Glenn Bujnoch.

Austen Bujnoch was named a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com, and was a member of the Elder state runner-up team in 2008. He was named the top lineman in the GCL South as a senior, earning first-team All-State, first-team All-District and first-team All-GCL accolades.

Austen Bujnoch

Austen also continues the proud Elder tradition of accomplished student-athletes, as well: a History major at UC, he is a member of the National Honor Society.

Corey Mason will be a 6′ 3″ redshirt sophomore linebacker next year, aย two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com.

Corey Mason

Corey was aย 2009 Second-Team all-GCL South performer, and teammate of fellow Panther and Bearcat Tony Miliano, one of the best kickers – if not THE best kicker – to ever lace it up at Elder Stadium.

A two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com, Miliano was First-Team ย All-State in 2008 and 2009. His 107 points in 2008 was the second-highest total in Ohio high school history.

Miliano, at 6′ 2″ and 198 pounds, will be a redshirt sophomore. He’s the only Elder player to be named All-State twice. He had 59 touchbacks and 42 kicks longer than 65 yards, and nine longer than 70 yards.

Elder/UC kicker Miliano: 2x All-State, 2nd highest scorer EVER.

See you on the 15th!
