The group is also holding the 12th Annual ACI/OSHA Safety Day on Feb. 15 at the Sharonville Convention Center, an event covering Crane Safety, Classifying Soil, Road Rage, Information System Protection, Risk Management/Hazard Assessment, Employee Training & Documentation, PPE Basics and Inspections; PUCO Motor Carrier Safety Rules for Vehicles; Hearing Conservation, Silica … Engineering Controls, and an overview of OSHA Onsite Consultation.

CREW GC (Commercial Real Estate Women of Greater Cincinnati):
CREW Greater Cincinnati will be holding itsย College and University Real Estate Panel – rescheduled fromย theย January luncheon, which was postponed due to weatherย – thisย Tuesday, Feb. 8, atย Crowne Plaza โ Cincinnati North inย Sharonville.

The event is sponsored by Champlin Architecture, Chicago Title and Woolpert Inc.
CREW Greater Cincinnati will be welcoming higher-education representatives fromย Dayton,ย Cincinnati, andย Northern Kentucky colleges andย universities to discuss theย challenges andย opportunities of these dynamic markets.
Panelists include:
– Vicky Davidson, Associate Vice President of Facilities, Planning and Development at Wright State University;

– Leslie Groesbeck, Director of Facilities Planning and Construction Management at the University of Dayton;
– Larry Blake, Assistant Vice President in the Facilities Management Office at Northern Kentucky University;
– Robert (Woody) Woodruff, Director of Facilities at Sinclair Community College.

SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services):
SMPS will be holding its Februrary luncheon program on Thursday, Feb. 17, at the original Montgomery Inn restaurant in Montgomery.
The Topic: ย โLocal Public Officials Project Presentations.โ
According to the SMPS website, “Local public officials will be invited to present projects in planning, design and construction for the year 2011 and 2012.”
The Original Montgomery Inn is located at 9440 Montgomery Road, 45242, in the heart of Olde Montgomery.
The event begins with registration at 11:15 a.m., then lunch at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at 12 noon and networking at 1 p.m.
The cost is $25 for SMPS Members and first-time Member guests, $45 for non-Members, $60 for Walk-ins and $20 for the Student/Civic/Unemployed crowd.

One week after the February luncheon, SMPS Cincinnati will hold a Winter Wine & Beer Tasting happy hour on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Tavern on The Hill in Mount Adams, 1111 St. Gregory Street.
The Winter Wine & Beer Tasting event at Tavern on the Hill will be held from 5-7 p.m.
The Feb. 23 event will include a free sampling of wine, beer and appetizers, courtesy of Tavern on The Hill and SMPS sponsors.
Additional happy hour specials will be offered. Gift certificates and bottles of vino will be raffled.

UC Real Estate Roundtable:
The February breakfast program for theย UC Real Estate Roundtable will relocate on Feb. 25 from its regular venue at the Kenwood Country Club to The Westin in Downtown Cincinnati for the UC/PNC Outlook, featuring Stu Hoffman, Chief Economist with PNC Bank.
The event will be held in The Westin Hotel Grand room, and will run from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Membership in the UC Real Estate Roundtable costs $350 and includes admission and breakfast to all eight Roundtable programs, but does not include the annual dinner.
If Members cannot attend a program, they may substitute another individual from their firm. Additional guests may attend meetings for $55, or $75-$100 for Continuing Education programs.
