Ellen Bradley, high school and Villanova tennis star from Northern Kentucky, knew her husband would love Cincinnati.
Aforementioned hubby, Michael Bradley of NBA and University of Kentucky basketball fame, never doubted his wifeโs passion for health, fitness and an eco-friendly lifestyle.

Together, the two former Wildcats have clicked as husband-and-wife entrepreneurs behind a successful and growing business, Moksha Yoga.
Moksha Yoga Cincinnati and Moksha Yoga Northern Kentucky, specifically.
Yesterday (7.24.11), Moksha Yoga was featured in the Sunday Business section of The Cincinnati Enquirer.
The story can be found here:
The Bradleys openedย Moksha Yoga Northern Kentucky in Crescent Springs in 2008 (www.mokshayoganky.com) and Moksha Yoga Cincinnati in Columbia-Tusculum late last year (www.mokshayogacincinnati.com).
The word โMokshaโ means freedom, and the goal of Moksha Yoga is to involve people in a Green, clean, hot yoga series that stretches, strengthens and tones muscle, while detoxifying the body and calming the mind.
Classes are held in 102-degree heat and are rooted in the Moksha Yoga tradition; individual instructors bring their own unique knowledge and education to each class.
Each Moksha Yoga Studio Owner/Director, such as the Bradleys, customizes their individual shops with a community-based vibe.

In Greater Cincinnati, the environment is friendly, engaged, ecologically conscious and committed to the ownersโ mantra: โCalm Mind. Fit Body. Inspired Life.โ
THE SEVEN PILLARS OF MOKSHA
The two local Moksha Yoga studios in Greater Cincinnati ascribe to the Seven Pillars of Moksha Yoga:
1. Be healthy
2. Be accessible
3. Live Green
4. Support your community
5. Reach out
6. Live to learn
7. Be peace.
They also provide an oasis of free thought, strenuous exercise โฆ. and a river of sweat, no matter what the weather is outside.
The Bradleys have been successful for numerous reasons, perhaps none more important than their community outreach. The couple has engaged its community with innumerable outreach programs, such as donated karma classes, and more than $35,000 in cash donations for local, regional,ย national and international charitable organizations.
โMoksha Yoga has been a labor of love from the beginning. Iโm a partner, a member, but Iโm also keenly interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle of personal fitness,โ said Michael Bradley.
The Bradleys have been keen to keep classes affordable to the entire community, offering $7.50 โeconomyโ classes and $5 classes for charitable causes and college students.
โThe benefits start with every one of those 900 breaths youโre going to take over the next hour. Make each one count,โ Ellen said. Specific benefits are:
– Reducing stress and tension;
– Detoxifying the body through sweating and deep breathing;
– Stimulating the lymphatic system while boosting the immune system;
– Increasing flexibility while enhancing the cardiovascular system;
– Improving sleep and promoting weight loss;
– Increasing energy.
MEET THE OWNER/DIRECTORS: THE BRADLEYS
Michael Bradley is a former first-round NBA pick of the Toronto Raptors who still holds University of Kentucky basketball records for field goal percentage (accuracy of shots).
After two seasons in Lexington, he transferred to Villanova, where he met his wife, the former Ellen Suetholz, a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Park Hills. Michael also coaches basketball at Summit Country Day.
Ellen was a standout tennis star at Villanova who has practiced yoga for almost her entire life.
As Michaelโs professional basketball career began to wind down, the couple looked to Moksha Yoga as a wise investment in a promising field.
โWe were looking for an investment that would combine what we love, with a way to help people, in the most effective way possible,โ said Ellen Bradley.

โThe result is Moksha Yoga. We offer a holistic program that assimilates fairly grueling exercise โ our rooms are kept at 102 degrees โ with a mental and physical cleansing.โ
Their brainchild is a member of a group of Moksha Yoga studios worldwide, an independent coalition of like-minded yoga aficionados and business people committed to ethical, compassionate and environmentally-conscious living. Classes are offered from Hong Kong to England, Trinidad, Thailand, Canada and the U.S.
This year, the Moksha Yogaย concept has already opened in Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles and Denver.
The Bradleys are contemplating additional expansion in the Greater Cincinnati market, in the northern and eastern Cincinnati suburbs: West Chester, Kenwood, Montgomery and Mason,ย and others, are on the Moksha Yoga radar.
