LEAD Cincinnati and Venue Magazine are published by Steve Wanamaker, a Cincinnati native whose previous publishing includedย “Inspire Cincinnati.”ย Wanamaker is a graduate of Colerain High School and aย 1994 University of Cincinnati graduate who grew up in West Chester; the Venue Mag/LEAD Cincinnati offices are on Glendale-Milford Road in Evendale.

“It’s my desire to create world-class media products that reflect our community and the incredible organizations within,” Wanamaker said in a phone interview today.

“We don’t just want to produce the best magazine in Cincinnati. We want to produce the best magazine in the world,” Wanamaker added.

The first issue of LEAD Cincinnati will be between 200-250 pages; Wanamaker declined to discuss pricing.

“LEAD Cincinnati, like Venue, will be a ‘showpiece’ publication. We’re hoping to grow it for many, many years, reflecting on all the great things in our business community.”

Heads up, Cincinnati Business Courier: They’re researching their own book of business lists. And they’ve got their own “40 Under 40” program, which you can check out on their Facebook page:ย https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.462652473776474.97907.250485181659872&type=1.
