The Lucke Legacy:

New Leadership and Company, Same Family Name and Commitment to Luxury, Quality and Value at the new Robert Lucke Group

The new Robert Lucke Group, now led by Scott Lucke, is an old expert at Greater Cincinnati real estate.

THREE GENERATIONS: Scott, Marion and Bob Lucke of Robert Lucke Group, featured in today’s Cincinnati Enquirer, Sunday Edition – 1.6.13.

[SYMMES TOWNSHIP, Ohio ~ Jan. 6, 2013] Sixty years after his grandfather started the company โ€“ and thousands of high-end, custom homes of superior quality and value later โ€“ the third-generation is now in charge at a renamed, recharged and high-flying Robert Lucke Group.

The new company is now being led by Robert โ€œScottโ€ Lucke, son of Bob Lucke, a legend in the Cincinnati homebuilding industry whose father Marion started the first firm, Lucke and Strassel, in 1953.

Heading into its sixth decade in business, Robert Lucke Group, a perennial HOMEARAMA builder, is capitalizing on a breakthrough turnaround year in 2012, as the housing market rebounds.

Happy 60th Birthday, Robert Lucke Group!

โ€œWith our company turning 60 this year, and being involved in so many different, yet convergent interests in the real estate area, we formed Robert Lucke Group to more effectively market, promote and grow one of the oldest custom homebuilders in Greater Cincinnati, while making sure our customers โ€“ and the market in general โ€“ are aware of the remodeling and commercial projects,โ€ said Scott Lucke.

โ€œOur first and primary business is still the high-end, custom homes,โ€ Lucke said.

โ€œEverything else, the remodeling division as well as our commercial work, feeds off of the reputation for quality, luxury and value that we have established with our residential work.โ€

The third-generation Lucke, a lifelong employee whoโ€™s been kicking around the company since he could walk, was named President last month, having previously run the Robert Lucke Remodeling and Commercial divisions. Bob Lucke is continuing as CEO.

The Lucke Recipe: Residential Still Comes First

โ€œItโ€™s time. Itโ€™s time for Scott to put his own, unique signature on the family business,โ€ said Bob Lucke.

โ€œLike myself, and my father before me, this company looks to a leader. Scott knows the business as well as I have, as heโ€™s demonstrated with his leadership by building up the Remodeling division.โ€

The Robert Lucke Group builds custom homes between $300,000 and $3 million, having contributed mansion-like models to the HOMEARAMA series for 22 years.

Residential design and construction still lead the charge for Bob, Scott and their 20-plus employees at the Symmes Township company.

The craftsmanship displayed at Robert Lucke Homes can often lead to new assignments for Robert Lucke Remodeling, as well, such as the new Carriage House at Manor House in Mason.

When Bill and Kathy Kinane started looking for ways to expand their prized property, the Manor House, a multi-purpose event center catering to private and public affairs, business weddings, bar mitzvahs, corporate meetings, dinners, social and corporate events, they needed some deft, skilled hands to design and execute a unique remodeling campaign.

The Kinanes were looking to expand an old golf course clubhouse into an extension of their original Manor House facility, one that could address the wide array of functions flocking to the wildly-successful Mason-Montgomery Road complex since it opened in 1997.

โ€œI needed an experienced builder/remodeler, somebody who could combine a chapel, a lodge, and a barn, all at the same time, for a highly discriminating and sophisticated audience,โ€ Bill Kinane said.

Remodeling Excellence: Details, Details, Details

โ€œThough we serve many corporate interests, we also serve families looking for an intimate, one-of-a-kind setting,โ€ Kinane added.

โ€œWe needed a building with a predominantly residential look and feel, one with all the craftsmanship of a really high-end home. We wanted all the high-end details, from the chandeliers to the floors, the moldings, the door handles, the bathrooms and the staircase. Everything had to be perfect.โ€

Kicking around the market, there was no shortage of construction, development and remodeling companies willing to do the job.

But the Kinanes didnโ€™t want just anybody.

โ€œRobert Lucke Remodeling turned out to be the perfect pick for us. Theyโ€™re a smaller, family-run company with intense customer service, someone whoโ€™s hands-on, with us on-site every day, whom I could reach out to at any time throughout the process,โ€ Kinane said.

โ€œThey had a great reputation locally. Theyโ€™re a HOMEARAMA builder. Plus, theyโ€™ve been doing this for 60 years. They had everything we were looking for, so we gave them a shot.

โ€œIt was refreshing to see a third-generation owner on the job every day. Scott has stepped into his grandfatherโ€™s shoes, and his fatherโ€™s shoes, in all the right ways,” said Kinane.

“We had a lot of confidence in Scott and his team, and they have delivered in every way possible,โ€ said Kinane.

The new Robert Lucke Group is poised for additional growth and opportunities, and looks forward to the next 60 years serving clients. The company is aggressively looking for a client to build in the 2013 version of HOMEARMA, at Carriage Hill in Liberty Township, Butler County.

The Robert Lucke Group is based at 8825 Chapelsquare Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45249. For more information, visit www.robertluckegroup.com, call (513) 683-3300 or e-mail Scott atย luckes3@yahoo.com.
