Zak Nordyke, Cincinnati entrepreneur and owner/founder of Destination Fitness.

Cincinnati entrepreneur Zak Nordyke stakes his career and profession on The Push every day.

Wednesday, The Push takes on an entirely new meaning.

Nordyke, a Cincinnati native, applies The Push to himself daily as a business owner, father and businessman.

As the architect of a thriving health/fitness business and lifelong Personal Trainer, he calls upon The Push with his clients, to help them achieve all of their health and fitness goals.

Nordyke employs The Push when he touts the merits of healthy living and a dedicated fitness program through his company, Destination Fitness, delivering exercise to clients at home and at their workplace.

Wednesday in West Chester, Nordyke and Destination Fitness (www.yourDestinationFitness.com) unveil the VOA Health Push 600 Challenge at the Voice of America Park.

For his part, Nordyke will personally be pushing a Lexus 600 across the VOA parking lot.

The ultimate goal: signing up 600 locals willing to dedicate themselves to a fitness program that will help them drop a collective 6,000 pounds.

โ€œThe Push is on,โ€ said Nordyke. โ€œIโ€™ll be pushing the Lexus, and announcing that Health Push 600 welcomes local community leaders from government and business, with Kenni Blache from the West Chester Chamber Alliance, Dan Buchanan from UniqueU, and Ralph Sells from Performance Lexus.

โ€œWe welcome Kenni, Dan and Ralph to Health Push 600 and we welcome all of their friends, neighbors, co-workers and family. This Wednesday only marks the beginning of the journey,โ€ Nordyke said. โ€œAt Destination Fitness, we want to make it easy to live healthy.โ€

As part of the program, Destination Fitness will be donating 600 hours to Butler County schools to help combat childhood obesity. Mr. Nordyke will be available for interviews before or after the 1:30 event on Wednesday.
